Mira Pantic is a PhD candidate with a concentration in Journalism and Electronic Media. Her dissertation utilizes a uses and gratification perspective to explore the role of readers in live blogging. Her research focuses on digital media, alterations in journalism practices, and new forms of audience engagement with media. Prior to joining UT, she spent 12 years working for media outlets in Serbia and abroad. She has won several awards for covering the European Union integration process and for investigative journalism. Read more about Mira!
Laura Lemon is a doctoral candidate in the College of Communication and Information with a concentration in public relations. Her research interests include internal communication, employee engagement, mindfulness and social media. Laura received her Master’s degree in Communication from the University of Colorado and her Bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Pepperdine University. Read more about Laura!
Priyanki Sinha is a PhD candidate from India with a concentration in Information Sciences. She has an undergraduate degree in Computer Applications from West Bengal University of Technology and a MS degree in Library and Information Science from Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore.
