Mission and Purpose
The purpose of the CCI Ambassadors Program is to assist the College of Communication and Information with student recruitment, alumni relations, community outreach, student retention and college events, and to help the college tell its story to a variety of important constituencies. Prospective students should feel free to contact CCI Ambassadors to request a campus tour, learn more about the college or university as a whole, or simply discuss communication as a potential career.

“My college experience has been so enhanced since I found my fit at the College of Communication & Information. Not everyone gets to have such luck! Becoming an ambassador is both my way of giving back to the CCI community and of helping fellow students to find in the college what I was so fortunate to find.”

"I wish someone would have told me coming in to college to fill up my time aside from academia with as many activities and clubs as you can. College is the place to make the most out of every opportunity and I owe a lot of that to the College of Communication & Information."

“We are all one Big Orange family! This college and campus has always been there for me, and I know it will be there for future volunteers! Over the last three years the faculty and staff in the College of Communication & Information have made my college experience challenging, fun, and enlightening for my future career and life!"
"I am beyond grateful for the support I have received from the College of Communication & Information. Every day that I walk across campus, volunteer in the community or go to work, I am reminded of how lucky I am to have CCI connections. Without my CCI family, my UTK experience could never be what it is today."
