    Elizabeth Longmire receives 2019 Torchbearer awardGrowing up in Corryton, Tennessee, just 15 miles north of Knoxville, senior Elizabeth Longmire always knew where she wanted to go to school.

    The Volunteer Spirit at the University of Tennessee is more than just about wearing orange and white. It is about being challenged by peers and professors to grow into the best possible individual and collaborating with others to make positive societal changes.

  • CCI Students Recognized with Chancellor's Honors

    A number of CCI students were recognized for their outstanding work at the Chancellor’s Honors Banquet held April 17, 2018. Included in the list are three CCI students in the top two campus award categories: Justin Crawford as Torchbearer; Kiah Albritton and Kiana Townsel as recipients of the Extraordinary Campus Leadership and Service Award.   • Three CCI Students Receive Torchbearer Awards

    CCI Chancellor's Honors RecipientsThree CCI students – Rilwan Balogun (JEM), Cierra Burdick (CS) and Kelsey Keny (JEM) – were among the nine outstanding UT students named as Torchbearers at the 2015 Chancellor’s Honors Banquet on Wednesday, April 8, 2015.  A number of other CCI students were also honored for outstanding achievement along with two CCI faculty members – AdvPR Associate Professor Lisa Fall and JEM Professor Sam Swan (see below).   The link to the special insert with the profiles of those honored at last night’s Chancellor’s Honors Banquet can be found at
